<p>With this more 30 million square feet of manufacturing infrastructure (to visualize – over 500 football fields), we continue to have the capacity to develop and produce on accelerated timelines. We continue to scale our manufacturing capacity, expand facilities and invest in infrastructure and innovation to further move forward development cycles and efficiencies. This capacity is underpinned by our industry-leading digital approach in places like our F-35 Center Fuselage <a href="/who-we-are/the-facts/digital-transformation/using-automation-and-robotics-in-advanced-aircraft-production">Integrated Assembly Line</a> in Palmdale, California, where we produce one center fuselage every 30 hours.</p>

We have been building cutting-edge technology in America for decades and continue to invest across the country. With footprints in all fifty states, our wide-reaching infrastructure, deep roots, and experienced workforce combine to create a thriving American manufacturing powerhouse. In the past five years, we have invested more than $13.5 billion in infrastructure and R&D in the United States, including new advanced manufacturing facilities in places like California, Maryland and Florida.
We employ nearly 100,000 team members across America and increase our impact with our robust supplier network with a supply chain nearly 12,000 strong. Combined, this workforce creates a resilient backbone of American manufacturing and innovation. The vast majority of our supply chain is sourced domestically, including in our lower-level supply chain adding to our resiliency and impact across the country.
